When you read about the staggering $15 trillion debt that America has racked up, it can lead you to wonder if we'll ever be able to get out from under it as a nation. Just for fun, Donald Trump and the Discovery Channel asked the question, 'What's America Worth?' (Sun., 9PM ET on Discovery).

Now this is assuming that the country is basically being liquidated, with all of its assets converted into cold, hard cash, including its citizens. Trump also accounted for that massive debt. But while our natural and rural resources couldn't touch it, we quickly overcame the debt when you factored in our development, military and citizens. Final tally, after paying off that debt: $280 trillion.

"Not bad," Trump said, but we're not so sure we're ready to liquidate the United States of America to see that number come to life.
