Casey Anthony TV Movie In the Works

this is to lawyer_man. Whether or not she mudered her daughter, I don't think anyone other than organizations to find lost children should profit from a movie. At least some good could come out of the poor baby's death. Why did this case get my attention? Because I couldn't believe someone could so consistantly lie. I raised my children to tell the truth and even if that have occasionally lied, I know their conscience would make them tell the truth at some point if they were in Casey's shoes. You kept thinking guilt would make her come out with the truth but it didn't happen. We will never know what really happened to poor Caylee. And why didn't Casey take the stand? Maybe she would have been tricked into telling the truth?

In response to the question "would I watch the Casey Anthony movie" my answer depends on who is profitting from it. If I thought one dime went to Casey or her attorneys, I would not watch it. If the profits go to maybe a missing children organization, then yes, I would watch it.

its so easy to judge someone whose shoes you do not walk in. no matter what the circumstances , casey still has to live whats left of her life. i don't think she'll be very successful at getting a job. of course , i don't know for sure , but i would imagine hollywood came to her and not the other way around. wasn't it the prosecuting attorney that so quickly wrote a book , that this movie would be based on ? she needs to make a living , if not , she would have to go on welfare.i'd rather she made her own money instead of tax payers paying her. i have no opinion about this matter one way or another. i was not there , so i can't have an opinion. what i do know for sure is that she was found not guilty in a court of law. she had her day in court....period. everybody has their opinions about this case and oj's . i don't understand why we are obsessed with just these two cases ? what about all the other murders that have occured ? just because they weren't on tv they don't matter ? just the other week in my little home town , after years of abuse (and authorities had been there to investigate before this happened) , a man , allegedly beat his ten year old son to death. the man's mother knew , and did not report it , but instead covered it up to protect her son. does this child not matter since its not going to be on nationwide tv ? lastly , i don't think there is a law that says , you cannot profit from a movie if you have lost a child......sure , there will be many that will boycott , but that will just bring even more attention and people that have no opinion will likely be drawn to it to find out what all the attention is about.
if everybody would stop all the boycott stuff , it would probably be shown and forgotten. don't talk about it , just do it. don't watch , and boycott the sponsors. otherwise it will just bring more attention and a ratings bonanza.

If yau are talking about not doing a movie because of childs death I can understand that part. we as a civil society should protect our children. But to say she, Casey, can not profit because your opinion is not the same as what was determined in the court system is wrong. If you are doing a movie on how system screwed up, and Casey happen to get some of the revenue, is that wrong because she is part of the story? I think not. Do the movie, find out what story line is told and then place comments based on facts not personal opinions or fiction.

It does not matter what the courts say how many innocent men have they put in there and how many gulity have walked free i dont care who you are if your child dies you damn sure dont want a movie made about it and they way she reacted the different stories she came up with they may have not had enough evidence to convict but the rest of the world knows she did hell she knows she did it i think she should be fixed to where she cant have anymore kids if she was a child rapist or had been convicted of anything other than killinh her child and there being no evidence the sick part of the crimes she was accused of would be enough to make everyone in america say she did it but no she just killed her 2 year old do you really think she should be aloud to profit from it

Crystal, how do you know she killed her daighter, the courts said she did not...what makes your opinion greater than the justice system. She was found NOT GUILTY...treat her as such...just because you say it does not mean its true.

I wish someone would start a petetion to stop this movie from coming out, she should not be making any money on the death of her daughter.
