CBS Orders More 'A Gifted Man'
CBS has ordered three more scripts for their fledgling drama, 'A Gifted Man,' bring its freshman season to a solid 16 episodes, reports Deadline. However, it's not a full-season pickup, and the show's fate is still uncertain. The series has struggled to find an audience in the ad-friendly 18-49 demo, averaging a 1.2 rating in the Friday 8 PM slot. However, in total viewers, the drama, starring Patrick Wilson, has been solid, most recently drawing 8.3 million viewers.
The network has picked up three of its five freshman series for full seasons -- 'Two Broke Girls,' 'Person of Interest' and 'Unforgettable.' Meanwhile, failed comedy 'How To Be a Gentleman' was cancelled.
