Demi Moore is divorcing Ashton Kutcher. The couple have been married for six years.

According to the Associated Press, Moore made the decision to end the marriage with "a heavy heart."

On Nov. 16, Us Weekly reported the couple were meeting at the home of Moore's ex-husband, Bruce Willis, to discuss their marriage. Moore and Kutcher, who currently stars in CBS's 'Two and a Half Men,' married in September 2005 after two years of dating.

"I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi," Kutcher tweeted. "Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK."

Their relationship became the target of tabloids following rumors that Kutcher cheated on Moore.

"[As] a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life," Moore told AP.
