Brody Gets Angry Upon Discovering Walker Is Alive on 'Homeland' (VIDEO)

Did our own Michael Hogan retire the Brody-o-Meter too soon? Well, it isn't officially retired, but after this week's installment of 'Homeland' (Sun., 10PM ET on Showtime), it should definitely stick around for at least a while longer. The revelation that Walker is alive would seem to put Brody in the clear, but this thing appears to be way more complicated than that.We already know Brody can pass a lie detector test, so when Carrie told him Walker was alive, sure he seemed shocked, but that could have been another lie, like his fidelity to his wife. But the clincher at the end revealed a truth of sorts.
!!SPOILER ALERT!!
The same diplomat who earlier passed some information and a locker key to Walker containing the sniper rifle he's going to use to do whatever dastardly deed they're plotting received a late-night visit that wasn't Walker. It was Brody, who most definitely did not know Walker was still alive and he wasn't happy that he was lead to believe he'd killed his friend with his own hands.
But then he told the man to tell Abu Nazir that it was over. What's over? Did Brody have another role to play? Is there a multi-faceted plan unfolding that Brody still had a role to play in? If so, we have a feeling that saying it's over isn't going to get him out of any obligations he'd made.
