This week's installment of 'Boss' (Fri., 10PM ET on Starz) was a master class in media manipulation. With a scandal on the verge of being revealed, Mayor Kane's crack team spent the next few days systematically working on each local news channel to redirect their attention elsewhere.

It was absolutely fascinating watching the work pay off as channel by channel, they bit on the bits of information leaked and created a more sensational story. Everything was coming off beautifully, until in the final moments of the episode we learned just how powerful a single voice can be.

It took days and a lot of work to move the networks from the scandal. It took one whistleblower who claimed to be complicit in the cover-up to bring everyone right back around to looking at the Kane administration. Is this the beginning of the end of his legacy?
