An Idiot Abroad - Friday November 25, 10PM ET, Discovery

If you've missed the latest collaboration between Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, this is the perfect chance to get on board. Ricky (recently confirmed to return to host the Golden Globes) and Stephen send their sad sack friend Karl Pilkington out to see the world and make fun of him mercilessly as he whines and complains his way around some of the most incredible locales on our planet.

It sounds mean, and it is. But you'll only feel sorry for poor Karl -- who'd be happier at home in his flat with a cup of tea -- for a few minutes. then you'll be laughing too hard to care. This week, Karl takes the legendary Trans-Siberian Express train into China. Fans may remember Karl's feelings about the Great Wall from last season. He was, shall we say, unimpressed.

Warehouse 13 - Thursday November 24, 10PM ET/PT, Showcase

Tonight's finale of the third season sees Sykes begin his endgame ... or so says the press release. I hate this "endgame" business -- a word I don't recall reading in television synopses before '24' and 'Alias.' It usually means a whole bunch of intentions are about to be assigned to a character that they clearly never had. Anyway, it turns out Helena is alive, and Jane reveals her plan, but someone will die in the execution of it.

Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown - Thursday November 24, 8:30PM ET/PT, CTV/ Fox

If the title of this special seems unfamiliar that's because it is. It's a brand-new animated special featuring the beloved Peanuts characters, and the first that's been made without creator Charles Schulz or long-time producer Bill Melendez. Despite that, the animation and characters are done in a 1960s style and uses characters from that period. The simple plot has Linus under pressure to give up his security blanket. Lucy tries to cure Linus of his dependency, Charlie Brown offers his support and Snoopy wants the blanket for himself.

Brave New World with Stephen Hawking - Saturday November 26, 8PM ET, Discovery World HD

The second episode of this series, hosted by Stephen Hawking, looks at developments in the field of health care and disease treatment. The focus of this series is where major leaps forward are happening, giving us a glimpse of the future. In this episode, meet scientists who act as virus hunters in Africa, a woman who's been treated for cancer with an individually-tailored drug cocktail, robot surgeons, and Richard Dawkins, who discusses advances in laser therapy.
