Kimberly McCullough Leaves 'General Hospital,' Conan O'Brien Books 'Web Therapy' and More Casting News

Kimberly McCullough Leaves General HospitalKimberly McCullough is leaving 'General Hospital.'

According to Soap Opera Digest, McCullough will be seen on the ABC soap until early 2012. McCullough joined 'General Hospital' in 2005. The actress intends to pursue directing.

"Expect a poignant and must watch storyline for Robin and Patrick," a show rep told Soap Opera Digest.

McCullough's exit comes hot on the heels of Jonathan Jackson's departure. The veteran 'GH' player will leave the soap in December.

In other casting news ...

Frances Sternhagen will guest star on 'Parenthood.' The veteran actress will play Zeke's mom in an early 2012 episode. [TVLine]

Conan O'Brien will play himself on Lisa Kudrow's 'Web Therapy.' He's the first star to play himself on the web show. He'll appear in three episodes. [THR]

Sebastian Sozzi, Rachel Cannon and Sadie Calvano have joined 'Village People.' The trio will co-star opposite Jennie Garth in the ABC Family comedy pilot. [Deadline]

Andrea Rosen will star in Showtime's 'The Andrew Gurland Project.' She'll star opposite Andrew Gurland in the first-person documentary comedy. [Deadline]

Wow they're still making general hospital? LOL, i had no idea. I loved that show when I was younger~

was thinking she is gone already and YES take that B---W -- Elizabeth with her never seen a woman need a man and thats any man (more if they are in love with someone else) more than her so needy and she isnt a good role model for young ladies and why cant we have a couple(Sam and Jason) be together happy for a change please try it im about to stop watching and i saw the 1st show see thought you may have gotten 1 right guess i need to stop thinking i use to enjoy my show not anymore why you have to do it

can someone answer something for me? doesn't her character have HIV, and since then she left to get treatment had several relationships and didn't she have a child? what's up with this? I guess since she had the UFO S/L anything is possible with her. I

Right..she's been on since she was a baby. She left for a year here and there but was always on the show.

and Kimberly (robin) was on the show longer than six years, but she left I think twice or more before. Once when Robin fell in love with that guy and caught hiv by him , I can't remember that characters name

Jonathan Jackson is leaving again. was it his choice to leave? I don't watch the show anymore, but in the late 90's , I liked Lucky and Liz together.

I have been watching GH since 1971. I have watched Kim come and go. Didn't miss her last time she left and won't miss her this time. While she is at it she could do us all a favor and take Elizabeth with her.
