All Smiles Backstage After the 'Dancing With the Stars' Finale

In honor of those who are trying to avoid finding out who won 'Dancing With the Stars' last night because they're still planning to watch the finale on DVR, here's the last 'DWTS' !!!SPOILER ALERT!!! of the season. You're welcome, now stop reading.Everyone else, read on ... It was all smiles backstage last night as the three finalists and their pro dance partners walked the post-show press line. We've all heard the stories of award-winners keeping their trophies in the bathroom or in a dark cupboard, but where does the new 'DWTS' champ plan to keep his/her coveted Mirror Ball trophy?
"Right now I'm going to put mine in bed. I'm going to tuck it in, and it's going to roll around with me. And then after that, once we've kind of grown apart, I'm going to glue it to the hood of my car and drive around ... and honk my horn and it will be my own parade."
So, if you see J.R. Martinez driving around LA in a blaze of glory, that's because the new king of the ballrom has kept his word and has a giant mirror ball on the hood of his car. His partner, Karina Smirnoff, told the AP that she wants to keep her trophy at her dance studio in "a space with a spotlight and I'm going to polish it every morning."It's Smirnoff's first time lifting the glittering prize and Martinez said she really deserves it. "She's an amazing dancer and she should be in that category with the elite when it comes to this show and hold her own trophy up. The fact that I was able to be part of that journey, I'm excited about that."
What now for the new champ? Backstage on Monday night he was cagey about his plans, but last night he told the AP that "I want to focus on writing a book. I want to tell people more in-depth the story of who J.R. Martinez is and what I've been through. And at the same time, I want to continue acting, continue doing motivational speaking and, from time to time, call Karina and say, 'Let's go dance.'"
Last night's runner-up, Rob Kardashian, said he was okay with finishing second. "I feel great. I literally did everything I could have asked myself to do and more," adding that Martinez "deserves that trophy more than anyone."
Third-place finsher Ricki Lake said that "J.R. and Karina really deserved to win. ... And Rob and Cheryl, I'm so impressed with them both, so it's great to be among the three best."
Tell us what you think: Did the right dancer win last night?
