With Chris 'Mad Dog' Russo on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:30PM ET on CBS), it was no surprise that the conversation quickly found its way to the Penn State controversy surrounding Jerry Sandusky and much of the university's organization.Russo and David Letterman still, though, struggled to comprehend some of the particulars of the story. Specifically, the parts about the apparent cover-up of Sandusky's actions by members of the school staff, and people's continued involvement with him and his charity.
Letterman suggested that he thought the right move would be for Penn State to simply forfeit the rest of the season, but Russo argued that it makes too much money for them.
"I don't care," Letterman said. "Once it would be great to see somebody say there are more important things than college football."
