'The View' Discusses the Michele Bachmann Intro Song Controversy (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Nov 28th 2011 4:40PM
Last week, when the women of 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC) discussed Congresswoman Michele Bachmann's 'One Word' appearance on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' the conversation focused mostly on the awkwardness of the segment and Bachmann's jabs at her fellow Republican nominees. But after their initial chat, the national conversation about the appearance re-focused on the intro music that Fallon's house band The Roots played as Bachmann walked onto the stage, a song entitled 'Lyin' Ass Bitch.'

The ladies went around the table offering their reactions to the controversy. Whoopi Goldberg pointed out that Rush Limbaugh responded by playing 'Baby Got Back' to introduce a segment about Michelle Obama. Joy Behar joked that maybe The Roots should have played 'Don't Know Much About History.' Elisabeth Hasselbeck noted that Bachmann demanding, and subsequently receiving an apology from NBC brought more attention to an incident that few people would have noticed otherwise.

BTW, how come HP and AOL are not saying anything about
Barney Frank bailing out?
Is it because it doesn't support an agenda of thiers?

What is to talk about ?
It was inappropriate and insulting and the NBC VP said so.
But then Jimmy "Man Show" Fallon does not have a history of respect for women.
The only question is why heads did not roll.
...but we all know why, it's NBC.

Clearly these women tend to resort to the defense of passing the blame, when two wrongs don't make a right! Elizabeth was wrong in saying Bachmann first made an issue out of the introductory music (?) when she didn't know until later on another show. Respect is something these women know nothing about unless it is spelled "DEMOCRAT!" That includes Barbara!

Michele Bachmann was--prior to her improbable run for the presidency--known chiefly for her odd statements and behavior. She wasn't well known for her policy positions or her verbal skills. She was renowned for her gaffes, and her "crazy eyes." After finding out more about her, I have even less respect for her as a politician. But the irony of the Bachmann "pray away the gay" clinic, run by Bachmann's obviously gay husband, is just hilarious.

Bachmann knows more about foreign affairs than all the other candidates put together. This Constitutional Conservative.
The anti-American Left hates MB most because she is the most principled and, courageous Constitutional Conservative on the national scene: the little lady with the spine of titanium. She actually believes in enforcing our laws. The Team Obama Left, in and out of the media, believes in "cutting American down to size." Bachmann sees through Barack Hussein Obama's policy of accomodation, apology, and appleasement to the radical Islamists.
