Oprah Sends Wendy Williams a Letter to Clarify She's Still BFFs with Gayle King (VIDEO)

When Gayle King left her show on OWN to become the host of the new, reformatted CBS morning show, Wendy Williams wondered if the move might signal a behind-the-scenes rift between besties Oprah and Gayle King. She delivered a monologue urging the longtime friends to remember the good times and stay close. And apparently Oprah heard her plea. Or at least her people did, anyway, because Williams received a letter from "Oprah" reassuring her that Gayle and Oprah were still best friends.

Wendy read a copy of the letter Wednesday on 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated on Fox) and joked that she was keeping the original in a locked vault in her office. "There is only happiness for Gayle and this wonderful opportunity," the letter clarified. After the letter ended with a "Love, Oprah," Wendy added her own post-script: "stay black."

Hey Opes - stay fat! stay a psuedo-middle-class "good-girl" that didn't "skank-around" or use illicit drugs popular in "those" neighborhoods at the time. We love when you "resort to truth" and you get dat neck a swingin, hands on huge hips, attitude pervading every mispronounced, improperly used word. Perhaps you can be Barry's running mate next year. That comment is stupid. If he likes white women over black women he would have married one. It shameful that he used some of these women (who all happento be white) for sex. He was very disrespectful to these white women. I wonder why he felt the need to be down right disrespectful to all those white women and not to any black women. I think his black wife is a class act and some of the women he was hitting on or who he had affairs with all were trashy (well at least the ones who came out). You must be trash to sleep with a married man for 13 years.
