It's been six years since Jess has been intimate with any man other than her ex-boyfriend, and he wound up cheating on her. So it's completely understandable that she would be nervous about going to that level with her new boyfriend on 'New Girl' (Tue., 9PM ET on FOX).

Justin Long continues to be a great relationship foil for Jess, as he's nearly as awkward and uncomfortable as she is. But nothing beats Jess sporting that strange spiderweb outfit over her bra and panties.

That it was so clearly not her, and neither one of them really knew what to do with it, spoke volumes about who they are as people. And they are not that, though he adorably thought she was.

In the end, Jess learned that if you just relax, then the sex will come naturally. Sometimes on an elevator while your roommates are waiting for it to arrive so they can grab something to eat.

"Is that your shoe?" Great closing line to a show that's just getting stronger and stronger. Here's hoping Long is around for a least a good while longer.
