Rachel Crow Reflects on Her Emotional 'X Factor' Elimination (VIDEO)

by Stephanie Opella, posted Dec 9th 2011 6:20PM
After Rachel Crow was eliminated on Thursday night's 'X Factor,' the 13-year-old singer dropped to the floor and sobbed in a dramatic, heart-breaking reality TV moment. After spending a night recovering from the disappointment, Crow put on her game-face for an interview with 'Good Day LA' (weekdays, 9AM PT on Fox). She showed up looking re-juvenated, and flashed the infectious smile that helped keep her in the competition for so long.

Crow reflected on her emotional reaction to getting eliminated. "It wasn't surprise, it was like, 'What am I going to do now?' You know? This was everything."

In rehearsals, Crow and Josh Krajcik had blocked where they would stand if they were in the bottom two, but rather than looking at as foreshadowing of their possible elimination, Crow said they joked that it meant they would be number one and two. And Josh was the first one sent to the semifinals last night. "So he was number one," Crow said, "and I was expecting to be number two, but it didn't really work out for me. But that's okay because I am doing fine!"

This breakdown is way, way over rated and talked about and in the media more than deserved. Reminds me of "Tots and Tieras" and the spoiled brats that don't understand that loseing is a learning experience too. You can't always win. Learn from your loss, and move on.

Her parents should have came on stage and whooped her little fat fanny for acting like such a brat,,,She needs to hook up with the other brat that was cast off the week before ,Astro and form a dueo called the "why me"

She was one of the worst on Wed and deserved to go home. She can't move and her appeal as an album seller is limited. She embarrassed herself by acting so poorly. Marcus is so much better

Rachel is a good singner and personality. I think she will be flying into her own career very shortly after her contractual obligations with x factor are completed. She is cute, funny, professional and talented. Her only mistake was to breakdown on stage, but that probably will work for her and make her feel real and human to her fans. Another star was born when she audtioned for the x factor. She will be successful when she is done.

Also, the wrong one went home. Marcus Canty is not anywhere near as good as Rachel.
