We interrupt your regularly scheduled browsing for a very important announcement: The site you are now viewing is about to change channels.
At 10AM ET on Wednesday, December 14, we are rolling the final credits on AOL TV Canada and launching an all-new site, HuffPost TV Canada.
HuffPost TV Canada is no mere spin-off. All your favourite characters, including TV critics Stephanie Earp and Maureen Ryan and US West Coast editor Maggie Furlong are making the leap, and so are all the features and listings pages you have come to rely on. Canada's entertainment editor Chris Jancelewicz will still be running the show, and Chris Harnick and Crystal Bell will continue to serve up the latest news from the wild and wonderful world of TV, and TV Replay will still be your one-stop destination for addictive video clips and highlights from across the grid.
So what's new? Quite a lot, actually. HuffPost TV will feature a daily array of blog posts from the most fascinating and influential voices in television, and our main page will feature the hottest news, videos and memes from sources across the Web. Obviously, we'd love to have you stay and explore every story, but a quick glance should be enough to prepare you for that dinner party conversation about the latest "Homeland" plot twist -- or the latest Kardashian exploit. Whichever side of the high-low divide you prefer, we'll have you covered.
So please take a moment to update your bookmarks and RSS feeds, and be sure to "Like" the new HuffPost TV Facebook page. (If you already follow AOL TV on Twitter and Tumblr, your subscriptions will be updated automatically.) And if you have any questions, concerns or comments about the new setup, don't be shy about getting in touch.
And now, we hope you'll point your clicker at HuffPost TV and join us on our new adventure.
