"The Voice" has crowned its winner: Danielle Bradbery is the Season 4 champion.

The 16-year-old country singer from Team Blake is the competition's youngest winner ever, beating out fellow team members The Swon Brothers, who came in third place, and runner-up Michelle Chamuel of newbie coach Usher's team to become Season 4's "Voice" winner.

"I"m so thankful," Danielle said after the final results were announced as tears filled her eyes and confetti fell on the stage. "I'm sorry. I'm speechless."

No one went home empty-handed, though: All of the finalists won cars, courtesy of Kia.

A very confident Blake -- who celebrated his 38th birthday on Tuesday and won both Season 2 (Jermaine Paul) and Season 3 (Cassadee Pope) -- said in his final confessional, "I know that Danielle and The Swon Brothers want this so badly that it's going to make my year to see them standing in the winner's circle."

"I came from singing in my room to being in the Top 3 and it's crazy," "Voice" winner Danielle said in her final confessional before the results came in. "I told my high school I would come back home with the win for them."

Earlier in the evening, younger Swon Brother Colton told Michelle and Danielle, "I would gladly lose to either one of them ... not just because they're awesome talents, but because of their hearts. The Swon Brothers love you very much. You know that." Michelle added that the other finalists "inspire [her] as people" as well and she's "very grateful and honored" to be part of "The Voice" Season 4.

"I'm already proud of her to even be this far," Usher said of runner-up Michelle at the start of "The Voice" finale. "I could think of nothing sweeter than for me to be able to stand on stage and greet her as the winner of 'The Voice.'"

The two-hour "Voice" finale was chock-full of big-name performances, plus the three finalists and more Season 4 contestants. Pitbull and a newly-svelte Christina Aguilera, who will return with Cee Lo Green for Season 5 in the fall, kicked things off, performing their hit "Feel This Moment."

The Swon Brothers brought back their eliminated team members Holly Tucker and Justin Rivers, as well as Team Adam's Amber Carrington, for Lady Antebellum's "Stars Tonight." Continuing the starry theme, Michelle took the stage with One Republic for "Counting Stars."

Then, Florida Georgia Line and Nelly performed the summer smash "Cruise" and Team Usher's Vedo and Josiah Hawley, and Team Shakira's Kris Thomas and Garrett Gardner took on The Temptations' "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" with Holly on the sax (seriously). Before she became "The Voice" winner, Danielle brought out three Team Adam alumni -- Amber, Caroline Glaser and Sarah Simmons -- for an energetic performance of Carrie Underwood's "All-American Girl."

Bruno Mars also stopped by with his new '70s-inspired single "Treasure" -- complete with gold chains and red suits -- and Bob Seger took the stage with The Swon Brothers, singing "Night Moves." Team Adam's controversially-eliminated Judith Hill, Team Usher's Cathia and Team Shakira's Karina Iglesias and Sasha Allen put on a girl-powered performance of En Vogue's "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)."

Season 4 "Voice" winner Danielle also got to perform with one of her favorite country singers: Hunter Hayes joined the young artist on stage for a duet of his hit "I Want Crazy." And when the opportunity came for Michelle to bring back some Season 4 contestants, she chose her fellow Team Usher contestants: Josiah, Vedo and Cathia took the stage with her for The Beatles' "We Can Work It Out."

Finally, Cher came out with a wild headpiece, for a highly-anticipated performance of her new single "Woman's World" before "The Voice" winner was crowned.

That's it for "The Voice" Season 4! Do you think the right person won? Will you miss Shakira and Usher in Season 5 or are you looking forward to the return of Cee Lo and Christina? Sound off in the comments!

CORRECTION: This story has been corrected to reflect that Blake Shelton was celebrating his 38th birthday.

<HH--236SLIDEEXPAND--221717--HH>

Alexandra Roxo: As two queer female filmmakers making work in the world right now, we were interested in doing a series of interviews with queer women in the TV world. Over the next month we will be chatting with some amazing women in the TV world who have penned and directed your favorite shows (hint, hint: Portlandia, Hung, True Blood). We decided to start with writer/director Jamie Babbit after hearing she has recently been in New York directing a few episodes of Girls.

Natalia Leite: When I think about where I want to be in my career 15 years or so from now, I think about Jamie Babbit.

Roxo: She's had a successful career directing television shows, from The L Word to United States of Tara and, more recently, Girls, and has made some pretty influential indie films that have become cult classics.

Leite: I was really thrilled to discover But I'm a Cheerleader when I was coming out to the world. But what strikes me the most about Jamie is her ability to always be very open and vocal about who she is. I love the fearless "yeah, I'm gay, so what?" mentality, which seems to be a rare statement in Hollywood. She's really paved the way for a lot of other queer female directors to be comfortable with themselves and their work.

Roxo: We are currently creating a Web show called Be Here Now-ish that explores themes of sexuality and spirituality in a comedic way, which we hope to pitch to television.

Leite: Our show is about two sexually progressive New York gals who ditch their down-and-out lives for L.A. in search of a spiritual awakening. You can see a trailer for the show on our Kickstarter page; we are currently raising funds to finish it for the Web and adapt it for TV, so we are seeking advice from women who have done it.

Roxo: So Jamie, do you see yourself as a lesbian filmmaker?

Jamie Babbit: I'm happy to embrace any labels, because I feel like it's important to be a role model. I have a lot of labels. "Lesbian" would be one. "Bisexual," "mother," "white," "woman," "Midwestern" -- I embrace them all.

Leite: Has embracing the fact that you're a lesbian filmmaker hindered you in this very male-dominated field, or has it actually helped you get hired on jobs seeking a director with a queer perspective?

Babbit: If you want to do anything creative, you have to embrace who you are, because the core of your work is the way you see the world. Some of my job as a director is encouraging people to embrace the truest, most simple, vulnerable part of themselves, and to be a good director you have to, to a certain degree, be able to do that within yourself.

Leite: That's so good to hear! Some people tell us, "You shouldn't just be making films that have gay characters, because you're going to be pigeonholed, and it's going to limit your opportunities."

Babbit: When people are like, "You only get to show that at Outfest and Frameline," I'm like, "Amazing! I can't wait to go to Outfest and Frameline!" I'm just gonna make things that interest me. I have a new movie, Breaking the Girl, being released in August by IFC. It's a thriller like Basic Instinct, which I love. But when Basic Instinct came out, there were a thousand gay people protesting that this bisexual representation was an evil woman. Some gay people are gonna hate my guts, but I love that stuff. I got so much flack after But I'm a Cheerleader. People said, "How dare you make a comedy making fun of ex-gay camp! This is a serious matter!" and I was like, "I'm in the community, and I'm gonna do whatever the fuck I want." I'm the one who has to watch it the most, 'cause I'm in the editing room.

Roxo: How did you transition from film into doing so much television work?

Babbit: I started in indie movies, so I made shorts that went to festivals. Then I made But I'm a Cheerleader, and it went to Sundance, and I got an agent there. Within a year of representing me, my agent got me a meeting with Ryan Murphy, who was creating his first TV show, Popular, and he hired me to direct it. I now know how difficult it is to get your first directing job, but at the time it was my first interview for television. I'm sure there were network executives who said, "You can't hire her; she's never done TV before!" I was lucky enough to get hired by someone who doesn't refer to what people tell him he can and can't do. By the time I left, I had already directed 15 episodes of TV, so I was a tried and true commodity and basically worked nonstop.

Roxo: Do you think he sought you out because he was like, "Wow, she did an amazing job directing these queer characters, and I want her voice in that way"?

Babbit: I think that was part of it, but I think he really just digs my energy. Ryan is an amazing leader in that he ultimately doesn't care if people don't have much on their résumé. If he feels like you're smart and you get him and his vision, he's excited to work with you. I also think he likes working with strong women.

Roxo: I heard you just directed a few episodes of Girls.

Babbit: Yeah, I just got back. That was super-fun! Talk about another fierce, amazing woman! Lena was a fan of But I'm a Cheerleader, and I worked with her partner Jenni Konner years ago on her show on ABC, so I was super excited to direct the show. Really nice group of people, very supportive, amazing writing and amazing acting, so it was a dream job.

Roxo: Did you direct some hot lesbian sex scenes?

Babbit: I did direct some hot sex scenes, and it was really fun!

Leite: Do you think they sought you out to direct those scenes because they were like, "Look, we need Jamie Babbit; she's gonna make it real"?

Roxo: No, I think Lena has done a fantastic job of making it real on her own. We're similar in that we're not afraid of sexuality, and she's amazingly fearless in that she's actually acting the part. I do think that actors take their cue from the director, and if you're open, that's an energy that's best for the actors. I've directed lots of sex scenes -- a ton of sex scenes on The L Word, and I enjoy them. You're literally like, "Take your hand a little bit to the left, over the nipple," and it's very technical, but I like the challenge of it. It's fun!

Leite: We were trying to think of our favorite gay characters on television and had a hard time thinking of any lesbian characters that weren't on The L Word! Who are some of your favorites?

Babbit: On The L Word I love Jennifer Beals' character, because she was so smart and really sexy; I just love Bette. Aside from that show, I love Gabriel Mann's character on Revenge. He's this really interesting kind of bisexual, deceitful -- it's just a really fun role. Secrets, lies and deception -- I'm really into it.

Roxo: Well, we're working on a new show that has a whole lot of weird queer characters on it, and we're seeking out women like you as mentors for creating content that reflects our own experiences. It's been so long since The L Word, but its success goes to show that there is an audience for queer television.

Babbit: Oh, my gosh, totally. It would be so amazing to see some queerness hit the cable!

* * * * *

Stay tuned for more chats with queer women in film and TV over the next month, and please leave a comment if there is someone you think we should interview!

Find us on Facebook and on Twitter @natalia_leite1 and @alexandraroxo.

Selma Blair is officially leaving "Anger Management" following a fight with co-star Charlie Sheen, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Per TMZ, the drama began when Blair allegedly told "Anger Management" executives that Sheen was always late to set and had a bad work ethic. When Sheen heard about Blair's criticism, he reportedly fired the actress and issued an ultimatum -- if Blair showed up to set on Monday, Sheen would quit.

Apparently, Sheen's threats were enough to spook "Anger Management's" producers, because production company Lionsgate confirmed Blair's exit on Tuesday afternoon in a statement: "We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to 'Anger Management' and we wish her the very best.”

According to Deadline, Sheen reportedly fired Blair via text, and the actress wasn't the only cast member who had issues with the star's on-set behavior. Deadline also reports that Blair's role as Sheen's character's therapist will not be recast at this time, but the series is reportedly seeking a new female regular, while Blair will be paid per her contract's terms with no legal action pending.

Blair seems fairly zen about the developments, tweeting this message on Monday night after rumors of her exit began circulating:

Goodnight dear followers. Life is good.
— Selma Blair (@SelmaBlair) June 18, 2013

Before the series premiered, Blair was effusive in her praise of Sheen, telling Access Hollywood, "I've always loved everything he's done and I've always looked at how interested people were in him and I thought I was really lucky to be part of it ... We all love him very much and he's really a generous, wonderful soul and whatever his personality is, we're grateful to be with him."

In September 2012, Blair praised Sheen again, telling Assignment X: "He's someone I consider my closest confidante. He helps me so much in my life, he's there for me, and he's a wonderful person. I don't know how he does it. He manages to be an amazing friend, amazing at work, and he has a lot of charisma, so we just really hit it off."

"Anger Management" is halfway through its 100 episode order with FX, so it remains to be seen how Blair's exit will impact the show's future storylines.

<HH--236SLIDEEXPAND--235473--HH>

Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) dysfunctional friendship is arguably the heart of CBS' "Big Bang Theory," but Galecki is the first to admit that the dynamic duo "could implode or split up at any second."

In a recent interview with Gold Derby, Galecki discussed the relationship between Leonard and Sheldon -- specifically why Leonard hasn't just slapped Sheldon for all his irritating behavior and constant putdowns. "You would be surprised -- or you might not be surprised -- how often I'm asked that question," Galecki laughed. "They really, truly need each other on some levels ... They have very different hearts, but they share the same brain in a lot of ways."

Galecki recalled an episode in the show's most recent season, "when Leonard talked about moving out and moving in with Penny, due to Sheldon ruining the 'Harry Potter' books for him. Of course, all of that discomfort or angst or frustration and exasperation that's been boiling under their dynamic for many, many years … of course it's going to come down to something as silly as ruining the end of the 'Harry Potter' books. It's all stuff that's been underneath for so long and it's a lot of fun to play -- it gives it a sense of unpredictability."

But, Galecki noted, "Leonard did slap Sheldon this season. You didn't see it, it was off-camera, but Leonard was laying in bed and Sheldon kept talking to him through the wall. It was Chuck Lorre's idea, during the live taping -- we had the studio audience there. And he said 'Johnny, could you just go out, leave the room, make a slap sound, and Jim'll holler.' I said, 'Really?' [Executive producer] Steve Molaro and I said 'Leonard's gonna slap Sheldon?' The audience went crazy, but it was a risky thing, I didn't think it would work, because I see how protective the audiences are of these characters.

"Breaking Bad" Season 5 marks the end of AMC's critically acclaimed drama, and as we draw closer to the debut of the final eight episodes, star Bryan Cranston took to Reddit to host an AMA and answer fans' burning questions about the end of the series.

Read on to find out what we learned about "Breaking Bad" Season 5 and Cranston's experiences filming the show, direct from the man himself.

Walt's descent into villainy has been a slow but seemingly inevitable process, and Cranston pinpointed the moment when he thinks Walt officially "broke bad" fairly early on: "My feeling is that Walt broke bad in the very first episode. It was very subtle but he did because that's when he decided to become someone that he's not in order to gain financially. He made the Faustian deal at that point and everything else was a slippery slope."

Cranston admitted that the role of Walter White has taught him many things he didn't know about himself, especially through the process of transitioning from a comedic role in "Malcolm in the Middle" to the grit of "Breaking Bad."

"What I discovered is that everyone has a dark side. It might be unrealized, untapped, but if the right buttons are pushed anyone can become dangerous and I just opened up to it," Cranston explained. "Now I don't want to say that I killed people in preparation for the role ... but I can't deny it either."

One fan asked whether Cranston could recall a memorable line or moment that provided the best insight into Walt's mindset -- especially one that fans and critics might not have paid much attention to when it aired. "There was a moment nobody ever really wrote about in the first or second season ... when he was in remission from his cancer and he decided even though his hair was growing back, he decided to shave his head some more," Cranston wrote. "And that was big thing for me because it made a statement that he was truly accepting this new life of his."

Fans are understandably anxious about how "Breaking Bad" will end (especially with creator Vince Gilligan admitting that he cried while writing it), but one Redditor asked whether the show ends the way Cranston wanted it to. "'Breaking Bad' ended the way Vince Gilligan wanted it to... which is exactly what I wanted," he responded.

And the actor had nothing but praise for his co-stars, especially Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) and the departed Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring). "He's a great actor but an even better person," Cranston said of Paul, adding that Esposito "is such the antithesis of his character Gus. Gus was calculating and always had an agenda to advance himself personally. And Giancarlo is an open, warm, loving, caring man."

Showrunners generally have a roadmap of where they want a series to go, but Cranston admitted that Gilligan and the writers left themselves open to change throughout the show's run: "Jesse was not supposed to survive after the first year. He was a character that was need [sic] to introduce me into that world and then he was going to die. But Aaron Paul captured something in him that was so necessary to the fabric of the show that it was a no brainer to keep him. They knew in broad strokes where the character was going to go, but they kept resetting after each season."

In a recent interview with HuffPost TV, co-star Dean Norris expressed his own enthusiasm for the end of "Breaking Bad," telling us, "the last eight [episodes] are the best eight of the whole series. Because once that secret is out, it just [explodes] ... Really it's a Hank-Walt showdown now ... And just like 'Breaking' has always done, it heads right into that, and it's a good ride."

Check out all of Cranston's AMA answers here.

Cranston's AMA was scheduled in conjunction with the launch of a contest hosted by Omaze to ride with Cranston to the final "Breaking Bad" premiere in an RV, before meeting the cast and attending the premiere and after party. Proceeds from the contest go to The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and donation of $10 or more will enter you into the prize drawing. Find out more about the contest and how to enter here.

The final eight episodes of "Breaking Bad" premiere Sunday, August 11 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.

<HH--236SLIDEEXPAND--233348--HH>

There's more drama in "Nashville"! The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively that executive music producer T Bone Burnett will not be returning for Season 2 of ABC drama "Nashville."

Burnett was credited with overseeing more than 100 original songs for the show, as well as producing or co-producing dozens of original songs in its first season. Buddy Miller, Burnett's producing and composing partner from Season 1, will now take over the role.

This isn't the first hiccup for the Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere-led ABC series -- the only freshman drama to receive a second season from the network -- but it might be the most noticeable, both for viewers and the cast and creator.

"That's part of what excited me about the show was the challenge of singing," star Connie Britton told The Huffington Post in a video interview before the show premiered. "I can tell you for sure that I could not do this without T Bone Burnett. He is a master. He is just beyond amazing."

"Just one of the best in the industry," star Sam Palladio, who plays Gunnar, agreed. "To be sitting in his studios in LA, working out songs and listening to music and immersing ourselves in the world, is a pretty cool thing to be able to do."

And star Clare Bowen, who plays Scarlett, seconded that, saying of Burnett's involvement: "We couldn't possibly be in better hands."

Burnett also happens to be married to the show's creator Callie Khouri.

The series averaged a 1.9 rating in the key demo of adults 18-49, reaching a season-long average of 5.94 million total viewers per episode.

Last month, the show made headlines for a massive crew shake-up. Line producer Loucas George and production supervisor Don Bensko, along with their team running the show on the ground in Nashville, did not have their contracts renewed for a second season, and were reportedly never notified by the studio.

In addition to the crew shake-up, Deadline also reported rumors of difficulties between production companies ABC Studios and Lionsgate, "and other behind-the-scenes issues, including star Britton being unhappy with the experience" during Season 1.

While the intention is reportedly to keep production of the series in Nashville, Deadline suggests that it largely depends on available tax incentives from the state of Tennessee.

Location changes and crew shake-ups, while important, are not as noticeable to viewers, but the loss of a creative presence like Burnett will surely be felt.

Tell us: Do you think the music of "Nashville" will be as good without Burnett on board?

<HH--236SLIDEEXPAND--280226--HH>

Agent Briggs: "You are now an undercover agent for the bureau. From this moment on, your lies are your life."

Mike Warren: "How do you do it, sir? All the lying...how do you keep from going crazy?"

Briggs: "Who says I haven't?"

Warren: "No one, sir."

Exactly.

Who knew that actors had anything in common with undercover narcotics agents? Certainly not I. But the parallel between the two fields was not lost on me as I prepared to inhabit the serpentine psychology of FBI Special Agent Paul Briggs within the narrative labyrinth of USA's new hour-long drama, Graceland.

At the heart of both professions the ability to convey lies with utter sincerity figures prominently, although the stakes are admittedly somewhat higher for the field-agent who risks a bullet to the head for a bad performance, versus the artist who risks a bad review in the trades. While both lie vocationally, actors do so in order to entertain and to artfully convey subtle emotional truths and weighty thematic underpinnings, while narco-agents use lies presumably for the greater good, in the cause of justice, and to stay alive whilst swimming with land-sharks.

In both cases, however, (and as stated in the tag line for our show) it can be fairly said that "your lies are your life"; or livelihood, or both. On Graceland, I found that the superimposition of the artful lie upon the art of lying produced a kind of mentative "Russian-Doll effect" that made keeping track of a season's worth of calculated ambiguities and dovetailing plot twists quite a challenge. Within the space of a few lie-laden episodes the telescoping pace of our story's acceleration was such that I found myself in need of regular reorientations from both Jeff Eastin and our talented writing staff in order to maintain my contextual compass as the season evolved in ever-compounding complexity. The actor's imperative of keeping track of what each character does and does not know, the lies they may have told, and the secrets they hold is ironically requisite to a truthful and authentic portrayal of both character and circumstance; especially in a medium like television or film where scenes are shot completely out of order.

Mr. Eastin's aid in this regard was of inestimable value both to myself and the entire cast. Extricating my psyche from Graceland's Briggsian rabbit-hole was relatively easy enough upon completion of our season-long "assignment." Though in retrospect, I find myself echoing the bewildered sentiments expressed above by young Agent Warren; I could never fathom the reality or magnitude of the difficulties faced by those who actually live on the edge, down-range, and in the line of fire... relying so heavily on secrets and veils of deceit to keep them safe and free from harm. In fact if I've learned anything from my experience shooting our show, it is that I much prefer the retouched facsimile to the unvarnished original. I could never do their job in real life; endlessly tight-rope walking the razor's edge of moral ambiguity; tempting the tragic fall into its abyss, where the liar becomes the lie, and the lie becomes truth.

"Fox and Friends" led the pack as usual with 262,000 viewers, while "Morning Joe" drew 132,000 viewers and HLN's 6-9 a.m. block of "Morning Express" drew 121,000 viewers in the demo.

"New Day" landed in third place for total viewers. 247,000 viewers tuned in to the debut — less than 1.06 million for "Fox and Friends" and 355,000 for "Morning Joe," but more than 215,000 for HLN.

On the bright side, "New Day" performed better than "Starting Point" and "Early Start" did this time last year. The Wrap reported that CNN's morning block averaged 198,000 total viewers and 89,000 in the demo for the same week last year. In comparison, the premiere of "New Day" was up 25 percent in total viewers, and 7 percent in the demo.

CNN president Jeff Zucker told reporters in May that he does not expect "New Day" to deliver an immediate ratings win, but plans to see what works and tinker with the show as the weeks progress. Cuomo said Zucker — who helped "Today" achieve its sixteen-year streak as the country's number one morning show — has made CNN's morning programming a priority as he revamps the network's line-up.

Monday's episode of the "The Bachelorette" proves Desiree Hartstock needs more than a pretty face. Though she (and you, come on) loved every minute of "The Mr. America" pageant, Des clearly wants a man who not only looks good but also does good.

The season nine bachelorette and her date, James Case, toured the devastation of the Jersey Shore and visited Manny and Jan, a couple whose home was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. After learning about how the two celebrated their 38th anniversary in a Red Cross shelter, Hartstock and Case offered them their date -- which included a limo ride, an extravagant dinner in Atlantic City, and a private performance by country singer Darius Rucker.

"It's nice to step outside of the glamour that comes with being the Bachelorette and really just raise awareness and give back," Hartstock said.

In a letter on the show's website, the show's leading lady urged her fans to sympathize with and also support the victims of these types of natural disasters.

"The Atlantic coastline still needs support, as do our friends in Oklahoma who have recently experienced the devastation that natural disasters can cause," she wrote. "I hope that all of you can join me in taking the time to give back, whether it is volunteering locally, or contributing to The Red Cross disaster relief fund right here."

Hartstock and Case also accompanied a Red Cross representative on a helicopter tour of Seaside Heights, where they witnessed the devastation of the hurricane's aftermath. Sandy was the deadliest hurricane to occur in the northeast in 40 years, the AP reported. It took the lives of 72 Americans and caused $50 billion worth of damage.

LOOK: The Best Tweets About This Week's 'Bachelorette'
<HH--236SLIDEEXPAND--303591--HH>
