Niecy Nash Gets TLC Reality Show

Niecy Nash Reality ShowNiecy Nash is getting a reality show on TLC. The network, which was home to 'Niecy Nash's Wedding Bash,' has ordered eight episodes of a half-hour series about the 'Reno 911!' actress, according to Deadline.

The show, described as a docu-series, will follow Nash and her new husband Jay Tucker as they adjust to life as a newlywed couple with a blended family.

President Obama recently announced that he will appoint Potter as a member of the President's Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities, reports CNN.

"I am grateful that these talented and dedicated individuals have agreed to take on these important roles and devote their talents to serving the American people," the President said in a statement. "I look forward to working with them in the coming months and years."

Justin Timberlake, Kesley De Santis, Marine Corps BallBack in the summer, when they were promoting their new movie, 'Friends With Benefits,' stars Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis agreed to attend Marine Corps Birthday Balls with service personnel who'd asked them to be their dates. Many commentators doubted that the stars would make good on their promise and actually attend, but Timberlake did this past weekend. And, what's more, he says he had a great time.

On Saturday night Timberlake escorted Corporal Kelsey De Santis to The Basic School Instructor Battalion 236th Marine Corps Birthday Ball at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Virginia. Writing about the evening on his blog Timberlake said he was "so proud to be there. I felt like I was getting a chance to be among my heroes. ... I had so much fun with Kelsey and her crew of friends. They were just really nice people."

kim zolciak marriesIs Kim Zolciak making Kim Kardashian's mistake? 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star recently wed her beau of a little over a year, Kroy Biermann. The couple said their vows around at their Atlanta home on Fri., Nov. 11.

"Beautiful weather! Beautiful day!! I'm walking on a cloud and I'm so grateful," the Bravo housewife tweeted shortly before her walk down the aisle.

Zolciak, 33, met Biermann, 25, at a charity event in June 2010 while the 'Real Housewives' cameras were rolling, and the pair quickly became an item. Within four months, she was pregnant. In June, she gave birth to a baby boy, Kroy Jagger Biermann Jr., and in October, the couple were engaged.

Tamara Tunie'Law & Order: SVU' and 'As the World Turns' star Tamara Tunie has been swindled out of $1 million by a former manager.

According to the New York Post, Tunie's former business manager, Joseph Cilibrasi, admitted that he stole more than $1 million from the actress over the course of a decade.

Tunie hired Cilibrasi to be her business manager in the early 1990s.

Who should replace Eddie Murphy as Oscars Host?After a whirlwind of controversy, producer Brett Ratner resigned from his producer post with the Oscars, and now host Eddie Murphy has parted ways with the Academy Awards as well.

UPDATE: Brian Grazer has accepted the job as Oscar producer, replacing Ratner, which the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences confirms. "It's very gratifying to be part of a show that honors excellence in the medium to which I have devoted so much of my career, said Grazer.

There's no word on who will replace Murphy yet ... but that's where you come in.

Eddie Murphy Out as Oscars Host

Eddie Murphy has quit his Oscars hosting gig. Just a day after Oscars producer Brett Ratner stepped down, the funnyman also announced his departure.

UPDATE: Brian Grazer has accepted the job as Oscar producer, replacing Ratner, which the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences confirms. "It's very gratifying to be part of a show that honors excellence in the medium to which I have devoted so much of my career," said Grazer.

"First and foremost I want to say that I completely understand and support each party's decision with regard to a change of producers for this year's Academy Awards ceremony," Murphy said in a statement. "I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I'm sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job."

Ratner stepped down after a series of gaffes and blunders. First, 'Tower Heist,' his flick starring Murphy, bombed at the box office over the weekend. Then, while promoting the flick, Ratner used a gay slur, saying "rehearsals are for fags."

Rachel Crow X FactorRachel Crow, a 13-year-old contestant on Fox's 'The X Factor,' has been wowing judges with her singing talent, but now details about her troubled childhood have surfaced.

According to E! News, Rachel's birth mother used cocaine while she was pregnant with her. After she was born, Rachel lived in a crack house before being placed in foster care. The New York Post first reported the story.

"She was born a crack baby and actually lived in a crack house and suffered a lot of abuse," Rachel's adoptive mother, Barbara Crow, told the Post. "But she is totally unaffected by it. She never looks at [her past] in a sad way. She looks at it as that is what made her the person she is."

Hip Hop Star Heavy D Has Died, Aged 44

Heavy DA sad start to the day with the news that hip hop artist and actor Heavy D has died at the age of 44. He was rushed to a Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles Tuesday after collapsing outside his Beverly Hills home.

No cause of death has been released, but police are not treating his death as suspicious. There have been several reports that he may have been suffering from pneumonia. According to TMZ.com Heavy D collapsed with breathing difficulties following a shopping trip. His neighbor Adam Mills found him leaning against a railing, clearly in distress, saying "I can't breathe, I can't breathe."

Only a few hours before his death the Jamaica-born rapper, who grew up in New York, Tweeted a tribute to the late boxing great Joe Frazier -- "SMOKIN JOE FRAZIER..RIP.. truly one of the best heavyweight champs that ever lived.. GODS SPEED,MR FRAZIER!" -- and sent his fans a typically positive message: "BE INSPIRED!"

Talking to reporters backstage afterward she was more preoccupied with the guilty verdict that had been handed down to Conrad Murray just a few hours before. And, being Nancy Grace, she had a zinger or two to let us know how she really feels about it.

"Well, once I found out it was a guilty verdict that's really all I needed to know," she told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "I only wish it had been murder one, because murder one deserves life behind bars, not four years."

Discussing Murray's future prospects, Grace told 'THR': "When he gets out, I got news for him ... God's gonna get him. He's gonna be mis-er-able. He can run but he can't hide. Hey! He and Casey Anthony can have a tea party in four years."

In a photo of the incident, he can be seen lying on his belly underneath the body of the car, with his head directly behind its front right wheel.

Ethan Zohn NYC marathonJust a week after news spread that Ethan Zohn's cancer had returned, the 'Survivor: Africa' winner proved that he wasn't going to let the cancer crush his spirits by completing the New York City marathon.

It was an emotional moment for both Zohn and his girlfriend or eight years, Jenna Morasca, who was there when he received the news that his cancer had returned to his lungs. But Zohn wasn't going to let his aching body stop him from achieving his goal. He was determined to outrun the cancer.

"My quads were burning, my hamstrings felt like they were about to rip off," he told People magazine after the marathon. "But I knew with every step I was crushing little cancer cells on the road. I even wrote 'f--k canzer' on the bottom of my shoes. That's what kept me going."

Chaz BonoChaz Bono is upset after the National Enquirer published a story predicting the death of the former 'Dancing With the Stars' contestant. The headline read: "Chaz Bono -- Only 4 Years to Live!"

The article cites Dr. Patrick Wanis, who claims Bono's weight combined with the stress of his recent appearance on 'DWTS' and various medications associated with his gender reassignment will "increase Chaz's risk of an early death." The Enquirer claims that Wanis predicts Bono will likely die by 2015.

Needless to say, Bono was not happy, and according to TMZ, he's firing back.
