Pay attention all you 'Killing' fans who are stuffed to the gills with turkey and want nothing more than to wrap yourself in comfy knitwear and sit sour-faced in front of the TV for the rest of the weekend: You can now do it Sarah Lund/Linden-style.
Whether you want to buy their sweaters from the Faroe Islands, or knit them yourself, we guarantee that all will be revealed after the jump.
Another year, come and gone. (Sniff, sniff)
We're thankful for a great many things (especially certain TV shows), and one of those things is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Did you miss the show this year? If so, we have a slideshow of your favorite pop culture balloons that floated through Manhattan.
From Spongebob to Kermit, we've got you covered. We even have the Mighty Morphin Samurai Rangers. Yep, they're a thing now.
The good folks over at Spinner have compiled a bunch of videos of TV celebs from Joey Lawrence to Zooey Deschanel as they showcase their vocal chops. Though a number of singers have moved from music to television, this list features stars who made it big on the small screen before picking up a microphone, to varying degrees of success.
In the pilot episode, McPhee's character Karen Cartwright auditions for a role in the new Marilyn Monroe musical with the song.
In addition to original shots, the video also features new footage from the show.
Watch the video below. 'Smash' premieres Mon., Feb. 6, 10PM ET on NBC.
Because nothing says making the holidays "hip" like Gaga!
'A Very Gaga Thanksgiving' (Thurs., Nov. 24, 9:30PM ET on ABC) is a 90-minute TV special conceived and directed by Gaga herself that finds the queen of shock performing eight songs for a small audience that includes her friends and family. The songs range from her biggest hits to holiday classic 'White Christmas,' and she's even doing a duet of 'The Lady Is a Tramp' with Tony Bennett.
Yep, this is really a thing. ABC is calling it "Gaga-fied," I'm calling it awesomely random.
That's right -- AOL TV had it's very own award to dish out to one very lucky star.
Unlike the Mirror Ball, the Crystal Ball doesn't go to the most skilled dancer or even the star with the most likeable personality. Instead, it went to the person who I believe rose to the challenge week after week and, in the end, walked away from the experience somewhat transformed.
So who took home the incredibly shiny Crystal Ball? The answer may surprise you ...
In 'Full Court Dress' (Wed., Nov. 23, 9:30PM ET on ABC), the quirky Chicago shop owner reveals that she's been figuring out how to sew with an online sewing class, and the Web site may or may not be a total rip-off of 'Project Runway,'* complete with the second step-cousin of guru Tim Gunn,** Nick Gun, as the instructor.
(*For legal purposes, we should probably say that it isn't a rip-off. Even though it is.)
(**There's really no relation whatsoever.)
We've got the exclusive sneak peek at the blinking, flashing, fluorescent mess of a Web site for Situation Walkspace. Let's take a look, shall we? And fair warning: Get ready to be suffocated by the cutting edge of fashion.
She's lost more than 20 pounds since the season began, but what don't we know about the 'Dancing' finalist?
Ricki Lake shared "25 Things You Don't Know About Me" in this week's Us Weekly, and we've got the list right here, including her drink of choice, the famous couple she bought her house from, the TV character name she went by as a kid and the one thing we'll never see her do.
Keep reading for the full list ...
But just because he's leading the pack heading into tonight's grand finale (Tues., Nov. 22 at 8PM ET), doesn't mean that you should count out J.R. Martinez and Ricki Lake just yet.
Ricki's been Season 13's ringer. She has the performance background, the technique and, from Week 1, she was in it to win it. Did I mention that she's also had the biggest physical transformation?
J.R. was the relative unknown with the heroic background. He's relied on his natural talent and personality to get him through week to week, winning the hearts of millions of Americans. Then there's Rob. Every season has an underdog, and this season, it was Rob. Sure, he may have millions of fans and tons of celebrity support, but he's had to fight for his spot in the finals. Do any of you remember his disastrous Week 1 waltz?
So who will take home the Mirror Ball and become the Season 13 'Dancing With the Stars' champion? Let's discuss ...
When Jen Aniston entered the set of 'After Lately' (premieres Sun., Nov. 27 at 11PM ET on E!) to shoot her scenes, the first thing that I noticed was her T-shirt. It was the classic Jen Aniston T-shirt she is famous for (with the heart-shaped neckline and cap sleeves), and that is exactly what came out of my mouth: "Jen, you're wearing the Jen Aniston T-shirt you're famous for." And she responded with, "What, that's weird." It was weird (and weird for me to say out loud), but look up paparazzi photos of Jen running errands throughout the last 15 years and she's consistently wearing that style of T-shirt, with her perfect, cute real boobs in a non-padded bra. In fact, that night I told my husband about her cute boobs, and my 5-year-old son looked up from his iPad and asked, "Boobs can be cute?" "When they're Jennifer Aniston's they can be," I answered.
You know what we're talking about -- those shows or televised events that are just too horrific for even our "worst" lists of the year.
We've picked our top turkeys, included proof of poultry, and ranked them on a gobble-meter scale of 1-10, 1 being the least offensive or surprising in terms of suckiness, and 10 being scream-at-your-TV-in-anger levels of suck that we hope we never have to endure again.
Take a look at our list, then chime in down in the comments with your own top picks for the bottom of the barrel.
"We've talked about the cake for a long, long time," Schwartz told AOL TV. "'The OC' went to 93 or 92 episodes, so we were close but no cake. It's really a testament to Stephanie [Savage] and her leadership, guiding the show to 100 episodes. We birthed it, but Stephanie's really raised this child. I just send an alimony check."
But it wasn't all cake talk. The cast also teased the highly anticipated 100th episode, and all we can say is OMG! Orgies, dance sequences, a royal wedding and a potential runaway bride? This is one episode you can't miss. And from what we hear, the first 10 minutes see the entire cast doing something they've never done before.
What can it be? Let the gossip commence ...
You might be surprised to know, then, that he's not especially worried about extending his perfect record. "Previous seasons, I've definitely felt the pressure to win, like it was mine to lose and, luckily, I won, but this season I don't feel that sort of pressure," Hough tells AOL TV. "I really like everyone that's in the final, and I think whoever wins totally deserves it."
With the grand finale of Season 13 looming (Mon., Nov. 21 at 8PM ET), AOL TV caught up with Hough to talk about his freestyle finale plans, the possibility of new judges and his laid-back new attitude -- one that apparently doesn't prevent him from throwing a few friendly jabs at fellow pro Karina Smirnoff.
There's plenty to choose from -- and obviously we had to narrow it down quite a bit -- but each of us has decided on one show that makes weekly viewing and analysis fun and worthwhile, for whatever reason.
Some of us appreciate a good laugh above all, some put dramas on a pedestal, and others are into vampire dramas with a hint of Somerhalder. You get the idea.
Take a peek at our quick list, then please share your own show that makes you thankful in the comments. Gobble gobble!
