(S01E01) Alyssa Milano is one of those actresses certain segments of the population gravitate to. Her latest project brings her back to her sitcom roots, in more ways than one. From the first scenes in the restaurant the "gang" hangs out in, 'Romantically Challenged' had all the trappings of an old school buddy sitcom.

(S10E08) An interesting little marquee decorates the 'Dancing with the Stars' stage representing movie night. While most of the cast get interesting movies that could channel actual dances moves ('Pulp Fiction,' 'The Breakfast Club,' 'Risky Business'), Chad Ochocinco was given the Disney favorite 'The Jungle Book.' After all these weeks of sexual tension with Cheryl, they couldn't give him 'Shaft' or connect with his football roots with 'Remember the Titans' as their song?

(S02E05) There's something very comforting about the massive dysfunction among Tara and her family, especially since they have such a way of not letting the craziness really get to them. It's almost as if Tara's condition has prepared those around her to accept whatever slings and arrows get tossed their way. (S02E05) Jackie Peyton has to be one of the most complicated and twisted characters on television today. Just trying to navigate the ins and outs of her mind, the motivations and mood swings, is enough to make you seasick. But then she does something soulful and pure and good, and you wonder if you were wrong to doubt her. You had all that, plus 'Alice in Wonderland' in this episode. More after the jump.

(S05E20) It figures that right after I do a long post about the prominence of silly standalone episodes on 'HIMYM' this year, Bays and Thomas come back with an episode that could both stand alone and be part of the "mythology" of the show. And it gave us a new drinking game, to boot.

Chris Berman is a fixture at ESPN. He's like the Jay Leno of ESPN, and as such, Berman's just gotten an extension to remain with ESPN for ... forever. Or so it seems. Berman's deal has been termed multi-year. Considering that he's going to be 55 on his birthday -- May 10 -- and he claims that he doesn't want to be broadcasting in his 60s, that means he's probably going to be doing the Swami for at least five more years.

Berman has been called the face of ESPN, and that's probably true. He's been there since 1979, just one month after the sports cable giant began as a fledgling idea that many assumed would never make it. An all-sports network? Are you mad? Seems hard to believe that now, but 31 years ago it was a radical notion and Chris Berman was a wannabe sportscaster in Hartford, Connecticut, who took a chance with the cable start up. It paid off big time when ESPN became the worldwide leader in sports broadcasting.

If you have a tween girl in the house, you're probably aware of at least a few shows airing on ABC Family -- 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager,' 'Make It or Break It,' and '10 Things I Hate About You' spring to mind.

The network has a new show premiering June 8 that looks to grab some of that audience. 'Pretty Little Liars' sounds like a cross between 'The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,' 'Desperate Housewives,' and 'Gossip Girl.' But it also looks pretty good. Here are four reasons why this show will be a hit.

It takes a big network to admit that it's been bad. And when VH1 decided to blow up most of its schedule and announce 44 new shows earlier today, that's exactly what they did.

Pretty much all the shows that have been part of the VH1 lineup over the last few years -- shows like 'Flavor of Love,' 'Rock of Love,' 'Tool Academy' and other high art -- are going to fade away in favor of more documentary-style shows. And, shocker of all shocks, music is coming back, with more music-video-centric shows and the revival of 'Behind The Music.'

Even the network's president, Tom Calderone, seems to think that its high time for the network to ditch its recent tawdry past. "(O)ur audience was getting a little fatigued by all those manufactured reality shows," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "They want more authenticity in their reality, which isn't to say that it can't be comedic and light."

But is fatigue the real reason why VH1 is classing it up? And are they really classing things up at all? A closer examination makes both answers a little less obvious.

One of the things that drove me nuts about the first season of Showtime's 'Nurse Jackie' was all the Jackie worship going on.

Yes, Edie Falco's character of the drug-addicted, adultering nurse Jackie Peyton was good at her job, and seems to have a much better bedside manner than most of the people working at All Saints Hospital. And, yes, the premise of the show, especially in that first season, was that she was somehow keeping all of her worlds separate and her lies in order, despite being in a highly stressful job.

But most of the juggling that Jackie was doing seemed pretty unrealistic -- especially in the romance department -- and I'm happy to see that some of those balls are finally falling to the ground.

I love 'The Price is Right.' If I were to pick my 20 favorite TV shows of all-time, it would be on that list. But that doesn't mean it doesn't anger me. Actually, the contestants who play 'Price Is Right' anger me.

You'd think that anyone who attends a taping of the show would be familiar with its games, but you'd be amazed at the number of people who have never seen the one they're about to play or have seen it yet still completely screw it up. The contestants on 'Wheel of Fortune' often make me sad, but at least they seem to know how to play (even if you often wonder "why can't they guess this?" and "why are they still buying vowels?!").

What follows is a guide to winning seven popular games on 'The Price Is Right.' I didn't include games like Squeeze Play or Pick-A-Number or One Away or Switch? or a half dozen others because those games really just involve luck.

There's some big news coming to us from the world of soap. One of the best actresses in the business, Kate Collins, is returning to 'All My Children' as Janet Dillon. You remember Janet, right? Or perhaps you recall her more popular name, Janet from Another Planet. That the nickname the character earned for her bizarre behavior and outrageous antics. She did once throw her sister Natalie down a well, leave her there to die and then threaten to shoot Hayley in the face.

Recently, the character has been played by Robin Mattson -- who is also a wonderful actress -- but Collins return is special because she's the originator of the role. She was last on 'All My Children' in 2007. Collins will be back on the show effective April 30, but the character has already been making her presence known.

It's not what you think. It's much worse. Apparently, a Lucasfilm representative at C2E2 confirmed that the company will be making another 'Star Wars' animated series that will serve as a sequel to 'Return of the Jedi' and feature all the original characters from the first trilogy. It will be in the same computer animated format as the current 'Clone Wars' series on Cartoon Network.

Perhaps this will be the comedy series with the 'Robot Chicken' creators that he was referring to in the past. Or perhaps it's a variation of that live-action 'Star Wars' television show that is forthcoming. Or perhaps it's just Lucas messing with the heads of any fans of the franchise even further than he already has.

Anybody who reads the original novels that serve as a sequel to the original trilogy is in for a nasty shock. Lucas has a tendency to ignore concepts that he himself didn't originate that actually enhance his franchise. It's likely that any new series will render those novels as moot as 'Galactica 1980.'

(E06) Part two of what I'm going to call the 'Peleliu Trilogy' offered more of what we saw with 'Peleliu Landing,' and then some. This extended look at one island campaign is to show us just how intense and long these boys were fighting for this one chunk of land, and how intense the fighting got.

There are very minor spoilers in the following paragraphs. You have been warned.

For those who watched this past week's episode of 'South Park' titled '200,' you know that the episode ended on a cliffhanger. However, there was no indicator that it would be continued into the next episode as the words "to be continued" nor scenes from next week nor any indicator were anywhere to be found. It would be just like Trey Parker and Matt Stone to pull a prank like this (such as the 'Not Without My Anus' gag in the first season).

The good news is that the story most definitely will continue this week in an episode titled "201," which makes sense since it's the 201st episode. Ain't It Cool posted some information about the episode in "inviso-text." Feel free to hightlight the text and get a clue about what's going to happen, unless of course you're spoiler-phobic.

Can you imagine 'American Dad' without Roger? It just wouldn't work at all. Episodes with Roger in a pivotal role are generally at least twice as funny as those without him, which is probably why we're seeing more and more of him. That said, this week Klaus actually got himself pulled into a pretty solid B-story, which is a rarity.
