Threshold: The Burning
You would think that from what these aliens have done already on this show, the fact that one of them went through a high-voltage fence without getting hurt wouldn't even faze Caffrey, Fenway, or Cavennaugh. But that's what happens in the opening. Come on guys, they're aliens, who can travel lights years and take over bodies and get up after being shot 30 times in the chest. Hey, maybe Vaughn on Alias is one of the Threshold aliens, because I refuse to believe he's dead after getting shot. But that's another rant. Back to Threshold...
Threshold: Blood of the Children
I'll admit something right off the bat. I was all prepared to hate the second episode of this series, because while I enjoyed the first episode, I got that "feeling" that it was going to go downhill quickly and get repetitive and boring, and would die a slow death in the sci-fi/horror graveyard known as Friday night. But about halfway through tonight's episode, I said to myself, "hey, this is fun."
Threshold: Trees Made Of Glass
Was it me or did it seem like there was an incredible number of commercials during this two-hour premiere? Everytime I started getting into the plot, something dramatic would happen and they'd go to a commercial.
The first episode of Threshold was half X-Files, half The Invaders. It was half good, half oh-will-you-please-just-get-on-with-it. Let's start with the latter first.
Don't Forget! Threshold starts tonight
Of all the sci-fi shows premiering this fall (Invasion, Supernatural, Surface), the one I'm most looking forward to is Threshold. Why? Besides the fact that the previews look the best of the four, take a look at this cast: Carla Gugino, Peter Dinklage, and Brent Spiner!
Threshold's 2-hour premiere airs on CBS tonight at 9.
