As I was watching the show tonight, and having read so many comments on this show here at TV Squad throughout the season, I realized there are going to be two main schools of thought here. One one side we'll have those who felt the trial was the most important piece of the episode, while the other will find it to be the haunting music, those who were driven by it and surprise ending. But of course if you've got any sense about you, you'll realize they're all important pieces to the puzzle.

I wanted to try something a little different tonight during the third season finale of Battlestar Galactica. Rather than do a liveblog, I thought I'd try a live chat during the show.

Who would have guessed at the beginning of the season that it would have come down to Katharine and Taylor? Many people tagged Taylor as a sure thing early on, but I doubt many would have expected young Ms. McPhee to make it this far. Here's the thing, I haven't heard one person not convey at least some form of total shock over last week's dismissal of Chris from the show. Most of the time those sentiments are quickly followed up with "I'm never gonna watch the show again" or  "Did you hear about how the phone numbers were screwed up?" or "There's no one worthy on there anymore." There are only a few artists that I just can't imagine a talent search singing, one is a group of four guys from Liverpool, the other is the King of rock'n'roll. Pickler's gone! I'm not nearly as torn up about that as I would have imagined I would have been if I knew that 3 months ago. We're down to the nitty-gritty on American Idol -- only six contestants left. This is traditionally the point where we really start to see a separation between those that can sing, and those that can't. After Ace finally got the boot last week, Kellie shouldn't be too far behind.
