Add your own commentDear Ms Lara, It was so great to see you speaking out about your incident in Cairo tonight on 60 Minutes! I was so worried about you because there was not much follow up on your condition. Your interview made me cry and confirmed what PIGS that there are in the middle east and how they treat beautiful people! I am sure that all of your fans and family are glad that you survived that horrible experience. It is good to see you back in the saddle! Keep on journaling, you're the best!
Laua, I am horrified by your experience in Egypt. You have always been in some tough situations, but this is unbelievable. Know that we all pray for your recovery, and look for you again on the news beat. You do such a good job. I can't imagine where your crew was!! Were any of them hurt too?
I am not sure if Ms. Logan will ever get these messages. However, we need to be thankful for those who helped her after this brutal attack and can only pray that the predator was caught. And if he was caught trust that the Egyptian Government will deal with this attack with urgency. Ms. Logan you need to somehow turn this around and become an advocate for the women around the world that have been attacked in such a horrific manner. Take the time to heal from this never forget it but you will get through this too. My prayers for a full recovery and trust that yes this too will pass to a degree.
Lara, I was just sick when I heard about the brutal attack on you. I have been a fan for several years now & have the highest respect for you. My prayers are with you as you recover. And my hopes are with CBS that they will provide enhanced security for you in the future. You & the stories you cover are too important to the world to let anything happen to you ever again. May you physical & emotional wounds heal with time, friends & family support.
I can't believe that I am still seeing with your posts that she is somehow to blame for this. The men that did this to her were animals and nothing more. If men could figure out how to behave themselves women wouldn't be hurt. End of story! ! ! The male correspondents that were attacked were not blamed for thier injuries. Hopefully, someday, men like them will no longer be in our world. Any where!
so sorry about what happened to you. Please know that everyone in the world is pissed off at what happened to you. You were reporting on something very important and for 200 plus coward to attack you, how sad. Get well and know when you report it make a difference in the world. But please be careful from now on because there are a lot of ******** out there.
Sorry to hear that. Logan is a fox! And with her accent incredibly hot I noticed when she was covering Iran. I don'******* CBS news anymore since Dan Rather retired and since I cut the cable; you cannot get CBS Evening news full broadcast on the internet so far as I know. But I was just thinking, why a woman like she would put herself in that kind of jeopardy amongst savages in that part of the world?
