Hi Shorty, I just wanted to say that on theold TV series Little Rascals , the show had a dog that was a pit bull named Pete or Petey, so the dog breed can't be bad, or the show would not put kids around a bad dog. I just love your series,& I will watch them over & over again, I am getting ready to get a pit bull I think they are beautifull!!! good luck on your series & God Bless. Alabama here

Praise the Lord for you Shorty. now you need to work in in FLA too. There is too many idiots out there. You changed my husband's mind. I am in a wheelchair needing a service dog and have to wait but have to wait and the pit bulls are not allowed in the apartment complex. So I either need to move my husband and I are both disabled he is mental and mine is both I lost my left leg use in surgery by a quack so when I drop something it frustrating.

Around 8 years ago, my son rescued a Pitt Bull puppy that was already being fought. He was only approx. 6 weeks old ! Noah had heard that the owners were also selling the puppies...went to the fight and saw them fighting 2 small puppies. He could only afford one...which broke his heart to leave the other one, but at $250. he had no choice. He took the one that was hurt the most. No one, that I know, would have ever gone into that neighborhood...especially to rescue a dog ! I wasn't happy about it myself, but I understood his mission. This puppy grew into the most wonderful dog ! When he wags his tail he wags his whole body ! Now my husband and I own one ! Marcelle is as gentle as a lamb with other animals, and loves people ! Noah tries to show others the goodness in his Pitt and everyone who has seen Loki has fell in love with him !

God Bless you, Shorty. I am an animal lover and believe pit bulls are made mean by people. They were not born that way. Keep on speaking out for them, my friend because they need you and more people like you.

The problem is that most of the pits on the street today are very poorly bred in garages by thugs trying to impress their friends. The health and temperment and personality of the dogs is not considered, just have a male and a female? Cool, lets have puppies and we'll sell them and make money. I would support a ban on pits here in the Los Angeles area for this reason. I have known many sweet and gentle pits, but because of the strength and possibility of injury should one of them get into a fight with another dog or a person, they are in another catagory. I have pugs, and should my pug deside to take a bite out of me and eat me for dinner, there wouldn't be much trouble, a bit of blood maybe, but that's all. If the pet pit desides to have you for dinner, or kill your baby, he will and there will be nothing you can do about it. A pit is a very sweet dog, until he isn't.

My son has a pitbull. Lucky is a year old.. he is the sweetest most lovable dog I've ever seen. he cuddles with my granddaughter, he plays with my puppy, and no one has ever gotten bitten or hurt. He greets people with a tail wag and a sit.... he's a great dog.. love him as much as i love mine. I'd hate for anyone to try to hurt him just because he'a a pitbull.

I love the work you and your crew do....I am a pit bull owner and they are the most miss understood dog. Its the a__hole owners that are giving them a bad rap. I am from detroit and moved to florida and can say that the shelters are full of pit bulls. I fear for this breed because its NOT the breed....its the people that own them that are the problem. I own 3 dogs and just don't have room for more. I aplaude what you do!

I applaud you shorty for standing up for whats right and for you dog and for the pitbull breed. I own a pit named boomer and i had tears in my eyes as i saw the reaction your dog had to the hostility in the air from the ignorant photographer. Thank you for being a positive advocate for the breed. Boomer is the best pet/friend i have ever had. I admire and respect what the show is doing to dispel the myth and terrible stereo typing.
