Whoopi, I have admired your talent for many years. But the remark you made the other day on The View, is not true! It was a very racist remark. You stated that Affirmative Action benefited White Women more than it ever did blacks. I don't know where you get your statistics, but you are wrong. If Elizabeth or some other white person had made your comment about a black woman, they would have been kicked off the show. The problem in this country today is the double standards in favor of Black Folks. I believe that deep inside you are a racist. Not all white people were rich and owned slaves 150 years ago. Get over it and just be funny and stop being a bigot! I would love for you to bring your documented evidence on the show and prove your statement.

Maryann in Denver when the working class or taking cuts people who make about $20,000.00 a year. How come the people who like our congress an senate seem to get the best health care best retirement food ,hair cuts cars (perks) and raises.And the rest of us get cuts. Example John Hickloper as Denvers Mayer and staff got 11% raise workers take cuts and Inssuance sky rocketed. Seems to hapen every where. Remember we our the consumers no money no buy products.Average congress member makes $800,000.00 a year beside the pay we pay. Rember they retire with100% pay to. To fix promblem put them all on the benifit plan with us watch how fast things change.
