A source very close to the Hollywood couple has leaked to People magazine that Sarah Michelle Gellar and her ex - teen idol husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are indeed expecting their first child.


31 year old Sarah Michelle Gellar, who was made famous by her role as the title character and star of the hit series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', met the now 33 year old Freddie Prinze Jr. on the set of their 1997 teen slasher movie 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'. They began dating three years later in 2000, and married in 2002.


The couple is set to continue working as they both have upcoming starring roles on new TV series. Prinze recently starred in a pilot for a new ABC comedy about what super heroes do on their days off called 'No Heroics', while Gellar is tapped to begin shooting the pilot episode for the new HBO series for which she is also the executive producer, 'The Wonderful Maladys.'
