Jorja Fox is returning to the scene of the crime.

Over the weekend, CBS announced Fox will reprise her 'CSI' role for five episodes this season, beginning with the Sept. 24 premiere.

"The viewers and longtime CSI fans will be excited to discover where life has taken Sara Sidle and what brings her back to the CSI team in Las Vegas," said executive producer and showrunner Carol Mendelsohn.

Sara was last seen in a cameo during William Petersen's final episode in January, in which Sara and Grissom were reunited in the Costa Rican jungle. For now, Petersen has no plans for a comeback, according to the Hollywood Reporter.Jorja Fox is returning to the scene of the crime.
