Back to TV's 11 Funniest Ladies in 2011
2. Melissa McCarthy, 'Mike & Molly'
CBS
McCarthy's rise to fame over the past year is one of those feel-good stories; in this era of people who become famous for no particular reason, it's so nice to see someone who genuinely deserves it. Besides the obvious boost McCarthy got from her hilarious stint in 'Bridesmaids,' we can't forget she won an Emmy for her work on 'Mike & Molly.' Genuinely funny and a master of facial expressions and one-liners, she still manages to warm our hearts every time she walks onscreen.
