I leave holding and walk over to Danny Pino's (Detective Nick Amaro) trailer and settle in for an interview. He's just come from filming a scene and his some fake blood running down his mouth.

"It was lunch. I was really hungry and the steak was really rare," Pino said, referring to his fake blood. "Nah, it's a Halloween episode. I have a little daughter and the episode starts with us trick-or-treating. Daddy has just come home from work and he’s still kind of in his suit, but he puts it together and throws on some kind of costume so he can take his little girl out trick-or-treating and maybe, hopefully, make her forget that he mom is not here. That's the beginning of the episode, then he gets a call and like maybe a couple of Halloweens before, daddy’s got to go."
