Where We Left Off: Adam lost his job, Sarah became a playwright, Amber survived a bad car accident, Crosby and Jasmine were still in flux, Julia found out she couldn't get pregnant while Kristina and Adam found out they accidentally were expecting.

What's Next: Jason Ritter will return to woo Lauren Graham's Sarah, but John Corbett is also returning as her ex. Conflict! Adam will still be unemployed, so he goes into business with Crosby on some sort of music venue.
