EDITION: U.S.
Back to New Shows We've Already Given Up On
'Free Agents'
NBC
The promise: Hailing from 'Party Down' writer Jon Enbom, with a cast of charming people like Kathryn Hanh, Hank Azaria and Anthony Stewart Head, I thought this would be my new comedy of the fall.
Why I've given up: It's boring. Normally if I'm watching and doing more than two things, the show will be cut from my rotation. In the case of 'Free Agents,' I was talking, reading and had the show on in the background -- and if the ratings are any indication, it looks like I'm not alone.
-- Chris Harnick
*Note: Looks like others gave up, too -- 'Free Agents' got axed on Thursday.
