Proof of Poultry: The 'Entourage' finale was one of the worst half-hours of television to ever air on HBO, full of phony catharsis that left audiences wondering if the eight seasons they spent watching Vince's crew's misadventures in Hollywood was really worth it. As usual, everything worked out in the end: Turtle became an accidental millionaire, E got back with Sloane after sleeping with her step-mom, and Vince got engaged to a Vanity Fair reporter who seemed revolted by him a few days earlier. At its best, 'Entourage' promised to be a buddy comedy that meant something, but it's finale sunk to a new low by giving its characters Hollywood-style happy endings that didn't feel realistic, earned or logical.
