When 'Dirty Dancing'-obsessed girly girl Jess (Zooey Deschanel) moved in with three guy's guys after a bad break up, they all tried to get her through the tears, but Schmidt (Max Greenfield), the Douchebag Jar-filler who fancies himself quite the ladies' man, was the first to get a laugh. His unsuccessful attempts to win over Jess' model friend Cece are simultaneously pathetic, douchey and endearing. (i.e. "You really have a very beautiful body. Cece, I really appreciate it.") But it's that delicate balance that makes us love to hate to love him.
