A morally ambiguous character, to be sure, viewers couldn't help but pull for Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis) and his team as they cleaned up the gang violence and drug-running on the mean streets of L.A. Vic was never afraid to do what needed to be done, even if that meant murdering somebody or knocking off an Armenian money train every once in a while.
