Winona Ryder, Barry Pepper to Star in Hallmark's 'The Lois Wilson Story'

Want to avoid going straight to cable? Go straight to network. Winona Ryder's movie career has been up and down (high: 'Star Trek'; low: 'The Informers'), so the actress has signed with CBS's Hallmark Hall of Fame franchise. Variety reports she'll star in an Emmy-friendly tale of riches to rags to redemption called "When Love is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story." Ryder will play the wife of "Bill W." -- the legendary co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous (played by Barry Pepper). Mrs. Wilson was also a formidable figure in the annals of recovery, having founded Al-Anon in the 1950s....

Wilson Phillips at Work on Reality Show About 20-Year Reunion

Hot off their surprise 'Bridesmaids' cameo, Wilson Phillips is heading to TV with a new reality show. In an interview with our sister site AOL Music, the female pop group divulged the news. "We're starting a record and a new TV show," Carnie Wilson said. "It's exciting." Wilson Phillips, known for their 20-year-old super hit "Hold On," is comprised of rock royalty. Sisters Carnie and Wendy Wilson, daughters of Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson teamed with their childhood friend Chynna Phillips, daughter of The Mamas and the Papas members John and Michelle Phillips, to form the female group....

Chandra Wilson Gives Wendy Williams Red Carpet Tips (VIDEO)

Think walking down the red carpet at a Hollywood gala would be a blast? Maybe, but it's also hard work. Chandra Wilson talked with Wendy Williams about how to pose on the red carpet on 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated). Wilson gave Williams pointers on which foot to lead with as you walk, how to turn so that the dress you're wearing looks best, and how to handle arm flab when you wave to your fans. Kinda makes you wonder what guys have to deal with. Watch the video after the jump....

Owen Wilson Shows Footage of Paintball with Neighbor Woody Harrelson (VIDEO)

Owen Wilson received a paintball gun for Christmas. He soon discovered shooting at inanimate objects is boring. What to do...? Woody Harrelson lives next door. He and Harrelson decided to play dominoes, "and the loser had to run for the other guy." Wilson brought home video of the result to 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC). As Harrelson's daughter looks on, he bolts out from the back of the house. Wilson aims, fires and hits him easily. "I only brought the ones where I shoot him," he explained as Harrelson tries different techniques to evade Wilson's skills....

Saturday Night Live: Rainn Wilson/Arcade Fire - VIDEOS

(S32E14) Rainn Wilson is probably best known from NBC's The Office, in which he plays the incredibly funny Dwight Schrute. As always, just because an actor does well in a sitcom doesn't necessarily mean it all translates on Saturday Night Live. Fortunately, Wilson delivered a great performance that was on par with the show's actual cast members. This was a pleasant surprise for me, so I really wish that the weeks' writing had done better justice to Wilson's talent....

Will Rainn Wilson get his own spin-off?

Don't do it Rainn. Fox News' Roger Friedman reports that NBC is actually thinking about giving the Dwight Schrute character his own spin-off show. Friedman is often wrong but this time it was confirmed (sorta) by Wilson himself. Friedman met Wilson at a party after the Tony Awards the other night and Wilson is the one who brought it up. ...

Wilson Phillips Gets Reality Show Pilot

Wilson Phillips: From music chart-toppers to reality stars and back again? The pop group's comeback will be the focus of a new reality show pilot on the TV Guide Network. The all-girl singing group, known for their hit 'Hold On,' teased the project to AOL Music during the summer of 2011, but now the news is confirmed. The project will chronicle the three members -- Carnie Wilson, Wendy Wilson and Chynna Phillips -- as they juggle family life while staging the ultimate musical comeback. "Wilson Phillips is extremely excited to start a reality show following the reunion of the girls and what it's like 21 years later," Carnie Wilson said in a statement. "Between touring, recording a new CD and raising nine children, the show promises love, laughter and head bumping!"...

Wilson Tries to Trap House While Searching for Guns on 'House' (VIDEO)

A patient with a massive stockpile of guns led to a fun cat-and-mouse between House and Wilson on 'House' (Mon., 9PM ET On FOX). Wilson was convinced/concerned that House had a gun, which would be a clear violation of his parole, while House insisted he did not. The ensuing traps and pranks throughout the episode were very inventive, as was the moment when Wilson finally succeeded in trapping House. Even though House gave props to his friend in that moment, Wilson ultimately didn't find the truth ... though we think a lot of that had to do with Wilson not wanting to find out the truth....

The Office's Rainn Wilson to kick ninja butt

Rainn Wilson will finally put all that Office martial arts training to work in his screenwriting debut Bonzai Shadowhands. Wilson, who plays purple belt sycophant Dwight on The Office, will star in the film as a once-great ninja who is now down on his luck. The film, to be directed by Ivan Reitman's son Jason, is described as a comedy with serious overtones. "It's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon meets Midnight Cowboy." (No word on whether Wilson will have any "hustler in the city" scenes or not. "You know what you got to do, cowboy.")...

Grey's Anatomy actor updates

There a few news bites from several of the Grey's Anatomy actors pre-scoured for your convenience. It's kind of odd reading about these people outside of their characters, but it's true: they are real people. We got some news from Patrick Dempsey, Chandra Wilson, T.R. Knight, and more: Chandra Wilson to join cast of Chicago - This one's a little old, but noteworthy. Chandra Wilson, better known as Miranda Bailey, will be playing Matron Mama Morton in the musical Chicago starting June 8th and ending July 5, 2009. It's great seeing Wilson play another really strong character; I've never heard her singing chops, but she has a background in musicals, so I'm not doubting it. More after the jump....

Rainn Wilson prominently featured in new movie trailer

There's a teaser for My Super Ex-Girlfriend currently airing on television that gives Rainn Wilson as much face time as big-name stars Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson. Rainn plays Luke Wilson's nerdy buddy who gives him all sorts of relationship advice. I think I saw it the other night during reruns of The Office and My Name is Earl, which makes sense. But still, that's pretty cool for Rainn. 20th Century Fox obviously thinks he has enough fans as Dwight Schrute on The Office that he'll be the reason (some) people go to the movie. The movie hits theaters July 21. Knowing that Rainn Wilson is in the movie... is that reason enough for you to plop down $10? Teaser video after the jump:...
