SHOW
DESCRIPTION
The third season of this competition series welcomes 10 contestants who are out to prove they are the best nonprofessional handyman or woman in the nation. The seven men and three women take part in a wide range of ``fix it'' and ``build it'' challenges (replacing a toilet and constructing a dog house, for example), which are once again judged by contractors Mike Holmes and Scott McGillivray. Each competitor who doesn't impress them is told to hang up his or her tool belt, and the overall winner receives a $10,000 shopping spree and a show development deal with HGTV. Anitra Mecadon (DIY Network's ``Mega Dens'') is the new host.
