DESCRIPTION
Author and home renovation guru Debbie Travis takes to the highways of Canada to try to bring communities together through an old-fashioned ``barn-raising'' type project. In each city, she brings locals the plans for a home upgrade for some deserving local hero -- but the plans are all she brings. There's no big organization following to help finance or complete the work necessary. Volunteers must step in and get the job done, and they have only five days in which to do it. But working with volunteers can be tricky, and Debbie must use every weapon in her arsenal to try to get the desired result.
