Journalist Anderson Cooper hosts this daily, hourlong talk show (formerly titled simply ``Anderson'' in its freshman season) and is joined by guest co-hosts to discuss topical issues of the day. Broadcast live (in some parts of the country) from New York, each episode begins with the Top 20, a segment in which Anderson and his co-host react to topical headlines and pop culture news in the show's first 20 minutes. The rest of the show features interviews with guests, undercover investigations and hidden-camera experiments. The show also allows viewers to interact with Anderson during the show through social media platforms, text messaging and emails.
