Chiroptera are immortal creatures that feed off blood and can change their form and disguise themselves as human beings. Red Shield has being fighting to exterminate them for years, but needs help. In modern-day Okinawa Japan, Saya Otonashi is a high-school girl living peacefully with her family even though she has no memory of her life except for the past year. It is her power and her destiny to stop the violent Chiroptera if she remembers how to fight only she can help the Red Shield.
