Mike Trainor is living the good life in New York. Handsome, wealthy, and recently retired from the NFL, he seems to have it all. But a phone call from his mother sends him flying back to his hometown of Houston, where he finds that a car accident has left his brother, Chill, in a wheelchair, struggling to keep his restaurant open. When she learns that Mike's manager absconded with all of Mike's hard-earned money, Mike's scheming mother is determined to keep Mike in Houston to help save Chill's restaurant and bring her family back together again.
