DESCRIPTION
The competition to determine the ``Next Great Baker'' heats up in season two, which features 13 aspiring cake artists attempting to bake their way into the heart -- and taste buds -- of the ``Cake Boss'' himself, Buddy Valastro. Not only are the weekly baking and decorating challenges this season tougher -- the one pastry chef who falls the flattest each episode is eliminated -- but the ultimate winner receives a sweeter $100,000 cash prize, double the amount of the first season, not to mention a chance to work alongside Buddy and his team at Carlo's Bakery.
