SHOW DESCRIPTION

Hopefuls from across the nation try to impress the toughest judges around: Farley Flex, Zack Werner, Jake Gold and Sass Jordan. Host Ben Mulroney takes center stage, and roving reporter Dave Kerr has the beat on the street where thousands of hopefuls line up for their shot at a golden ticket and ultimately, stardom. Out of the thousands of people who audition, 212 advance to Toronto for the Top 200 round. Twenty-two hopefuls then make it to the semifinals before the 10 finalists ultimately compete for the title of Canadian Idol.
