Elizabeth Canterbury is a feisty defense attorney who thinks nothing of putting her career on the line as she tackles high-risk and often unpopular cases. Elizabeth and her law professor husband Matt have settled in Providence, R.I., hoping to distance themselves from the still-unsolved disappearance of their young son.
