DESCRIPTION
While public opinion has loosened considerably about mixed marriages, there are still obstacles in the path of love for couples of different belief systems. In this documentary series, cameras follow couples, one per episode, who are planning an interfaith or interracial marriage. From an Indian woman whose family castigates her for planning to marry a black man to the Lebanese family who so wants a son to marry a nice Lebanese girl he is sent to Lebanon to meet one, cameras reveal just how far the country has come in accepting mixed marriages, as well as how far it still has to go.
