SHOW
DESCRIPTION
As it has for the last decade-plus, ABC's New Year's Eve celebration begins in primetime and spans two coasts. This first part of the annual celebration (airing before the late local news in most markets) features musical performances emanating from Los Angeles and New York's Times Square. Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest host the festivities with Jenny McCarthy providing reports from Times Square. Fergie hosts the show's Los Angeles segments. This year marks Clark's 40th consecutive year of ringing in the new year from Times Square on ABC.
