Country music star John Rich (Big & Rich) hosts this seven-episode reality series in which performers from other parts of the music business go through a series of challenges designed to test their ability and willingness to adapt to ``the country music lifestyle.'' After two weeks of total immersion in the country field, the artist whom Rich deems most prepared to impress an audience of country music fans will record and release a song to country radio stations.
