Filmed over one year, this three-part documentary provides unprecedented access into the Great Ormond Street children's hospital in London. For the first time, cameras follow the hospital's doctors into meetings, where they hash out difficult ethical dilemmas on a daily basis. When is it time to inform parents, for example, ``We can't do anything more for your child.'' The film focuses on the work of the hospital's cardiac unit, its intensive care unit, and its renal department, which treats children for conditions that have no complete cure.
