In each episode of this winner-takes-all design competition series, host Drew Lachey presents a home improvement challenge to five neighboring families, who each receive guidance from HGTV's family of experts as they create a space to be judged by designers Kristan Cunningham and John Gidding. The winning family walks away with up to four redesigned areas of their home and $250,000.
