Millie has become a successful children's author despite her ``hiccups'' -- she's prone to sudden outbursts of laughter, sadness or rage. Trying to curb her unpredictable behavior, Millie seeks guidance from life coach Stan, who just wants to help people, although he's not really qualified to do so. Meanwhile, the best efforts of her publisher, Joyce, don't keep Millie's problem under wraps, and her agent, David, is too busy thinking about himself to notice. ``Corner Gas'' alumni Nancy Robertson and Brent Butt co-star as Millie and Stan in ``Hiccups,'' and Butt is the series' creator.
