SHOW DESCRIPTION

ReRun wants a dog for Christmas. But when his mother and sister say he's not ready for the responsibility, he asks Charlie Brown if he can play with Snoopy. Initially willing, Snoopy soon tires of ReRun's company, so he calls his cousin Spike to come to town for a visit. ReRun's family takes Spike in, and for a while everyone's happy, until Spike decides he needs to go back to his desert home and ReRun agrees that a dog is really a lot of work after all.
