Wanting a new life for himself and his kids, Jesse James happily leaves the glitz, glamour and gossip of California in the rearview mirror for the quieter confines of Austin, Texas, where he gets back to his roots at the Austin Speed Shop. While the former ``Monster Garage'' host sometimes refers to himself as a ``glorified welder,'' fans of his motorcycle-building prowess with West Coast Choppers know him as a world-class metal fabricator, and now as part owner of the Austin Speed Shop, James' goal is to turn 1940s- to 1960s-era cars and trucks into highly stylized, kick-butt rides. With a straight-ahead manner and without apologies, James pushes his new crew to make the Speed Shop the best custom car outfit in the country.
